Debate Phase: I might have got into debate again... Voluntarily at that. (Very Late Post. Sem 1 stuff)

Due to the thought that I wouldn't be busy in that period of time, I got myself and a friend, Syahirul, into debate. And we were okay in the beginning, until... they gave us 20 motions to research before the preliminaries. Like, really, TWENTY. The big two and zero.

I did not know that was how universities do their debate. And I might have ( read: I did ), freaked out more than I should.

Maybe it was the shock, maybe it was the lack of time, or maybe it was the fact that our progress test was then, in three weeks. But we panicked. My debate team did, and it was, Syahirul, Fairuz, Fazz and I. But really, we were scuttling all over the hall, trying to calm ourselves down, and me being me, the dramaqueen in me emerged and well, everything went forward in a dramatic flow for me. However, creds to Fazz, she was chill all the way.

So, in the end we had three rounds of prelims, as we are doing this fight everyone to see who's the best to get into finals.

Both groups of Year 1 got into the finals, YAY!!!

So, in the end, my group went into the finals with two wins and one loss, however, the other group got in with all three wins. So you could honestly say, we were nervous for this last round.

To give some insight, the two teams were the exact polar opposite.

My team was 'all-out' and basically quite loud and aggressive.

The other team was 'reserved' and passive and calm.

So you could honestly say we were not ready for the other team.

But in the end, we actually won!!! Yay!!!! Hehe
