Review
Jewels is good. She is brilliant.
James Potter does not sound like a teenage girl (as most fanfics made him to be, probably due to the teen girls writing them.)
And Lily, as sensible as she was, has her own cons, and not the so-called perfect girl (that is suited for all men), rather the imperfect girl that's just perfect for the James Potter.
The story fit the already published Harry Potter series (by J.K. Rowling) and it abides most of the canon, if not all, inclusive of several OCs (Carlotta and Shelley for example).
All the characters go through their own developments.
All of them made hard choices.
All of them plays a part in the main plot line.
RATING: 9.9/10
(would've been a perfect 10 if the typos weren't there, there weren't many, but they're there.)
If those number of reviews doesn't make you want to read it, I don't know what will.
As many of you, I adore this fanfic. Also, as many of you, even though I accept it as canon, there's always been this bitter sweet feeling of missing out a big part of the story which would mainly resume around the two characters getting together. I have come to envision how it would be like but lately, it had been such a clear narrative in my head that I decided to share it with the world, by creating the "The Life and Times - A revised finale".
ReplyDeleteI hope both Jewels5 and the fans of her story see this as it is - an homage both to her story as well as to the couple so many of us love. I'm not promising is anywhere near the great writing quality of the work she did, but I do hope I did it near justice.
